Electrolytes — Essential for Cellular Hydration & Performance

Drinking water isn’t enough for true hydration. We need electrolytes — sodium and potassium, especially —for true cellular hydration. They help power our cells to produce energy, improve performance, and more.

When we sweat, we excrete essential electrolytes like sodium and potassium.

If we are drinking extra water without simultaneously replacing lost electrolytes, we can further dilute our electrolyte levels.

 The consequences of excessive electrolyte loss can be catastrophic, but even suboptimal electrolyte levels can impact us. Suboptimal electrolyte levels may also be related to:

→ Headaches & fatigue
→ Mood swings & brain fog
→ Muscle cramps, weakness, low energy, poor focus
